GENÈVE – De wondermerrie Bonne Chance CW won vanmiddag op fenomenale wijze de prestigieuze Coupe de Genève met haar Zwitserse topamazone Janika Sprunger in de imposante Palexpo-hal. De negenjarige Baloubet du Rouet x Cambridge-merrie werd in 2006 geveild op Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag.

Met haar bronzen teammedaille op het EK in Aken dit jaar en haar overwinningen in maar liefst drie Grote Prijzen, waaronder de vijfsterren GP van Falsterbo, was Bonne Chance CW al hét voorbeeld van het motto van Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag: de Kracht van Prestatie. Deze zege op één van ’s werelds mooiste indoorconcoursen CH Genève zet de enorme staat van dienst van de pas negenjarige Bonne Chance CW kracht bij.

The wonderful mare Bonne Chance CW and her Swiss rider Janika Sprunger achieved an impressive victory in the Coupe de Genève at the impressive Palexpo hall. The nine year old Baloubet du Rouet x Cambridge mare was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag 2006.

The bronze team medal at the European Championships in Aachen this year and the victories in no less than three Grand Prixs, including the five-star Grand Prix of Falsterbo, already made Bonne Chance CW the perfect example of the motto of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag: the Power of Performance. This victory at one of world’s finest indoor competitions CH Geneva makes the tremendous palmares of the only nine year old Bonne Chance CW even more impressive.

OPGLABBEEK – De op Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag-geveilde KWPN-goedgekeurde hengst Alicante (Casall x Indoctro) heeft zijn debuut gemaakt onder de olympische springruiter Abdel Saïd. De topruiter uit Egypte nam recent de teugels over van de Belgische Chloé Vranken en bracht Alicante uit op de internationale tweesterren wedstrijd in Opglabbeek.

Alicante werd in 2005 geboren op Stoeterij ’t Maalwater en is een zoon van tophengst Casall Ask. De hengst werd internationaal opgeleid door Julia Kayser en werd vorig jaar verkocht naar de stal van Tal Milstein. Chloé Vranken bracht de hengst de afgelopen maanden met succes uit voor Milstein en topruiter Abdel Saïd heeft nu de teugels overgenomen. In Opglabbeek sprong de schimmel elke ronde zonder springfouten en daarmee kenden Alicante en Saïd een geslaagd debuut.

Alicante was born in 2005 and bred by Stoeterij ’t Maalwater. His sire is the top stallion Casall Ask, who is still performing successfully at the highest level. Alicante was produced at international level by Julia Kayser and was sold to Tal Milstein last year. Chloé Vranken rode the stallion successfully at international level for the last couple of months and now Abdel Saïd has taken over the reins. At the show in Opglabbeek Alicante jumped every round without a rail down. An excellent debut for Alicante and Abdel Saïd!

VRAGENDER – Twee bij Prinsjesdag-geveilde paarden sprongen zich afgelopen weekend op het internationale jeugdconcours op het hippische complex Paardensportcentrum Lichtenvoorde in de kijker. Onder de getalenteerde ruiter Emiel Richter viel de in 2005 bij Prinsjesdag geveilde Sundance (Padinus x Ekstein) positief op, terwijl routinier This Lux (Lux x Wisconsin) onder de Française Victoria Tachet nog steeds meedeed.

De tienjarige merrie Sundance is geboren als Alana en is de halfzus van onder meer de KWPN-goedgekeurde hengst Vincenzo. Deze dochter van Padinus kwam in 2005 onder de hamer op Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag en brak dit jaar internationaal door onder de achttienjarige Emiel Richter.
Afgelopen vrijdag hadden Richter en Sundance direct de smaak te pakken en behaalden een tweede plaats in de U25 1,40 m Morssinkhof Rymoplast Prijs. In de Grote Prijs op zaterdagavond was het weer raak voor Sundance. De merrie leverde een fantastische foutloze ronde af in het basisparcours en kwam door een foutje in de barrage uit op de zevende plaats.

De inmiddels vijftienjarige This Lux (Lux x Wisconsin) van de Franse amazone Victoria Tachet toonde zich afgelopen weekend nog altijd topfit. De bloedverwante van toppers als Tyson, Nirvana, Tadmus en de KWPN-goedgekeurde hengst Edinburgh sprong in de teamwedstrijd voor junioren dubbel foutloos en had zo een belangrijke bijdrage aan de teamoverwinning van Team Europa 2. This Lux sprong eerder internationaal met onder meer Zoï Snels en Louise Tachet.

Last weekend two Prinsjesdag sold horses jumped into the limelight at the international youth show at the equestrian centre PSC Lichtenvoorde. Ridden by the talented rider Emiel Richter Sundance (Padinus x Ekstein), sold at Prinsjesdag 2005, impressed throughout the weekend, while the experienced This Lux (Lux x Wisconsin), ridden by France’s Victoria Tachet, still showed off his great shape.

The ten year old mare Sundance was born named Alana and is the half-sister to for example the KWPN approved stallion Vincenzo. This daughter of Padinus was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 2005 and this year made her international breakthrough with the eighteen year old rider Emiel Richter.
Last Friday Richter and Sundance impressed by achieving a second place in the U25 1.40m Morssinkhof Rymoplast Price. In Saturday night’s Grand Prix they did it again by producing a marvelous clear round. Due to a rail down in the jump-off Emiel Richter and Sundance finished seventh.

The now fifteen year old This Lux (Lux x Wisconsin) and the French rider Victoria Tachet were in great shape as well last weekend. The relative of top horses such as Tyson, Nirvana, Tadmus and the KWPN approved stallion Edinburgh jumped double clear in the team competition for juniors. A great contribution to the team victory of Team Europe 2. Earlier This Lux jumped internationally with riders such as Zoï Snels and Louise Tachet.
