Prinsjesdag auction: everything you need for the global top

PRESS RELEASE, 16 SEPTEMBER 2011

Friesian super foal lards elite collection NVP

A very special foal has been added to the elite collection of the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag at the last minute. It concerns the very promising Frisian colt Jaitse Ven, a beautiful black pearl as a change from the exclusive collection of riding horse foals.

Jaitse Ven is a son of the performance champion of 2008 Stendert 447. Like his sire, Jaitse Ven stems from a very strong dam line. Dam Imkje van de Heikant (Sytse 385 x Fetse 349 x Reitse 272) has distinguished herself with the coveted star predicate in the Friesian horse world. The same applies to the entire dam line that appears on the paper of Jaitse Ven. This creates what Friesian breeders reverently call 'a full paper'.

Jaitse Ven lards a collection of top foals that genetically have everything for the global top of sport and breeding. The very best jumping and dressage foals, bred from the most prominent bloodlines.

Pregnancy Statement

Very special are the six pregnancies that will be sold on Tuesday 20 September with a recent pregnancy statement. Among them a fruit of the Grand Prix stallion Untouchable and the Indoctro mare Barbera ster. She is the daughter of none other than the elite pref perst sport-jump mare Herarda, the number four in the KWPN jumping index and mother of the number one in that index, Willemijn. Herarda herself made an international career under the saddle of Marc Houtzager.

THE DAUGHTER OF SILVANA DE HUS AND THE BROTHER OF TAKE OFF

THE DAUGHTER OF SILVANA DE HUS AND THE BROTHER OF TAKE OFF

On Tuesday 20 September, 77 beautiful sport foals will be auctioned at the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in the KNHS Center. If you look at the pedigrees of these well-developed and very appealing athletes, you will fall from one sensation to the next. Not only the six pregnancies, which are auctioned with a recent pregnancy certificate, are extremely interestingly bred, also the 77 eye-catching darters in the lane are bursting with the most modern sport genes.

The selection committee (Bert Poppelaars, Peter Bleeker, Fred van Straaten) has managed to capture a number of absolutely unique breeding products for the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. A daughter of the world topper Silvana de Hus (Corland x Widor), who was the winner of the World Cup competition in Geneva and number two in the Grand Prix of Aachen under Kevin Staut, stands out this year under Kevin Staut. The dam of Silvana de Hus produced a total of four international show jumpers. Red Skin (by Flemmingh), Levano (by Hofnar) and Ulvana (by Emilion) are also jumping at a high level.

Ginsy de Hus, as the beautiful and well-developed daughter of Silvana de Hus is called, goes directly back to the famous mare Marion, the dam of the Grand Prix stallion Silvano.

Ginsy de Hus' sire is the French state stallion Levistan, a son of the Grand Prix stallion Levisto out of the dam's line of the stallions Chasseur I and II and Wolkentanz I and II.

Twice Cassini

Breeders who want to invest in a new line can also have their eye on Catalis LVP, a daughter of Cassus (s.Cassini) out of a dam of Eurocommerce Berlin (s.Cassini). Close line breeding on top progenitor Cassini. Then the stallions Acorado and Cento follow in the pedigree, after which one comes across foundation dam Towerfee (Heartbreaker x Lurano). This Belgian branch of the Koteusi strain produced the cracks Toulon and Vancouver d'Auvray.

Brother of Take Off

There is also plenty to do for stallion breeders on Tuesday 20 September. For example, you cannot buy the full brother of Eric Lamaze's Grand Prix mare Take Off (by Numero Uno) every day. Dam Odile (by Indoctro) jumped Grand Prix under Edwin Smits, grandam Hot Shot (Grannus x Argentinus) achieved the highest level under the saddle of Leon Thijssen.

Indorado x sister of Quintago

Also very interesting is the colt Iquem of the Paddocks (by Indorado). Dam Quidam Z is the full sister of the Holstein stallion Quintago. Granddam N-Cassina is the full sister of Cassini and the half sister of Clarimo.

Quaprice from the tribe of Sam

Superior bred is also Go For It. Sire Quaprice du Bois Margot made a career in the big sport under Julien Epaillard, but died young. Dam Reggae is an elite sport-jump daughter of top progenitor Emilion, granddam Mariska is keur sport-jump by Indorado, followed by a preferent performance mare by Le Val Blanc xx and a model preferential performance mare by Farn. The top jumper Sam (Albert Zoer) is a direct relative of Go For It.

TRUST OF TOP BREEDERS LEADS TO A COLLECTION OF UNPARALLELED QUALITY

The National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag is very proud that it can count on
the trust of so many top breeders. The best breeders from home and abroad
investing abroad in top stallions for their very best broodmares and the
they then hand over products of so much care and skill to the
Prince's Day Auction. Thanks to this trust, Tuesday 20 September will come
an elite collection of unprecedented quality for sale at the KNHS. Selectors Bert Poppelaars, Fred van Straaten and Peter Bleeker, for example, were offered a magnificent foal out of the top mare Astrid Sollenburg (OO Seven x Metall). In the EPTM test, Astrid Sollenburg scored nines for trot, canter,
posture & balance and disposition. At the age of six, Astrid Sollenburg is already

very successful in the ZZ-Licht. Her son Goldwyn Sollenburg descends from

Bretton Woods, who was recently sold for a fortune to Paul Schockemöhle

and Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff. Goldwyn Sollenburg moves with a lot of looseness,

balance and attitude.

Twice Apache x Rhodium

The selection committee has been enabled by the breeders to breed two extremely good fillies

presenting both of which come from a fantastic lineage and both of which are Apache as

father and Rhodium as mother's father. A top combination, as shown by the

special quality of Giwemmie W (from the northern movement tribe of

Arnoldo Thor) and Gentle Irene (from the Gelderland movement strain of the national

champion Norene and the dressage crack Artist).

Weather Putin

From France comes another very interestingly bred son from the clone of

Putin. This Danemark de Hus has the Hanoverian dressage stamper Dancier

as a father. Danemark is a very well developed colt with a

long-lined and bloody sporty body with a lot of flexibility and technique in

movement.

De Niro

Also very interesting is the moving with a lot of power, space and expression

Donnatelli. Sire De Niro supplies Grand Prix horses on the assembly line, the

dam line with Florencio, Quattro and Ulft makes Donnatelli only

more interesting for stallion breeding.

All Grand Prix

Breeders of the Year Jacqueline van Anholt and Frank van de Valk together offer

with the Animal Embryo Center Diergaerderhof the movement artist Genetic

Black on. Rarely has a foal been seen moving like this. The powerhouse is therefore

son of world progenitor Jazz and of a full sister of Painted Black. one and all

Grand Prix genes on both sides of the pedigree!

Wynton x Caprimond

Also of extreme quality is the Wynton son Gaudi, bred from the Lichte

Tour mare Maronia elite. The Trakehner grandfather Caprimond performed himself in

the Grand Prix. Grandmother Saronia was champion of the keur mares on the UTV

and stood at the basis of the Grand Prix horse Pavarotti (s.Ferro). Gaudi move

his formidable dressage genes are transformed into dream movements.

PRINCESS DAY FORMS THE ADVANCED OF PERFORMANCE BREEDING

The National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag is at the forefront of the strongly developing performance breeding. The latest developments in top sport and the top breeding required for this are contained in a magnificent collection of 77 top athletes that will be auctioned on Prinsjesdag, 20 September, in the KNHS Center. In addition, six very exclusive pregnancies will be auctioned by auctioneer Hans Sinnige.

Of the stallion Nabab de Reve, the sire of Eurocommerce London who won no less than 320,000 euros in the Global Champions Tour last Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, no fewer than three offspring will be up for auction on Prinsjesdag. The colt Niro de Landetta (s.Nabab de Reve) is also bred in the same damline as Cha Cha Z (Carthago x Beach Boy), who finished sixth in Rio under Judy Ann Melchior. The other two Nabab offspring are a beautiful filly out of the full sister of Numero Uno and a fantastic colt out of a Numero Uno dam from the unsurpassed Leva line.

The Prinsjesdag auction also follows the developments at the Bundeschampionat. There the Toulon daughter Toulouse was the impressive champion of the six-year-old show jumpers. On Prinsjesdag, the blood-made Goldplay, son of Toulon x Corland, will be auctioned. This fantastic colt goes directly back to the Grand Prix mare Isabelle (by Voltaire).

The Prinsjesdag auction also keeps its finger on the pulse in the dressage arena. Florencio distinguished himself again in Warendorf with some excellent dressage horses. On Prinsjesdag, Gazz, an impressive son of Florencio out of a star daughter of Jazz x May Sherif x Doruto (three times a top supplier for the Grand Prix), and the wonderfully moving Gerona LE (Jazz x Triton) are among the items on offer.

Finally, it should not be forgotten that the wealthy Prinsjesdag foal Gorgeous Vurona has the top stallion Fürst Heinrich, who died early, as father, just like the new Bundeschampion Fürstenball.
