NVP's Honorate SK foal champion CK Gelderland

During the first Central Foal Inspection in the Netherlands, one of the dressage foals selected by the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag became champion of Gelderland.

Honorato SK (Florencio out of Alpha Irene elite sport-(dres) s.Rhodium), bred by Mrs. Soethout-Koopmans, went proudly through the course. “A colt with a lot of charisma and a beautifully shaped neck that he uses in a good way. What stood out in particular positively was the looseness and ease of movement”, according to the inspection committee.

More information and the provisional collection will soon be available at www.veulenveilingprinsjesdag.nl.

Foal auction stallions are doing well at home and abroad

In 2011, the stallion Boston STH ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud already showed that he is one of the best young dressage horses in the world during the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden. In 2006, this stallion was bought by Mr. Nekeman from Zwartsluis during the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. Tuesday 12 June was the fourth training day at the KNHS Center in Ermelo as part of the selection process for the World Championships for young dressage horses. The selection committee has invited nine 6-year-old horses for the next selection day on June 26 in Ermelo. Boston STH will again present itself before the committee on June 26.

The Efgaristo (Vivaldi x Nevada) sold to Stal 104 in 2009 has been approved for breeding in Westphalia.

IBOP topper Hotruschels Taonga auctioned at National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag

The mare Hotruschels Taonga (by Hoftanz), auctioned at the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 2008, showed a very good appearance on Wednesday 9 May during the IBOP in Luttenberg. She scored no less than 81 points for her performances under saddle and also became a star with 80 points for conformation.

The four-year-old mare from the breeding of the late Spekenbrink from Enter came into the hands of Willeke Bos van Stal 104 BV in Wijdewormer at the auction for 4,000 euros. This proves that you can also buy a topper at the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag for a decent price because the selection requirements are very high. Due to the motto 'the power of performance' and the aim to offer high-quality foals to the buyer, Foal Auction Prinsjesdag is still one of the best foal auctions in the Netherlands.

Hotruschels Taonga, bred out of Otruschels (Welt Hit II x Rubinstein), was described by the jury as a 'charming, bloody mare with a lot of expression, a very nice forehand and three clean basic gaits'. She moves very tactfully, lightly and upwards. The highest score was an 8.5 for the canter.

Foal Auction Prinsjesdag adds extra selection moments to the selection calendar

The National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag has added two selection moments to the calendar. The selection committee spends many days on the road every year to put together a top auction collection. In order to be even more welcoming to the breeder, an extra selection moment is added in the middle of the country and in Zeeland.

SELECTION DAYS NATIONAL FOAL AUCTION PRINSJESDAY 2012

In memoriam Gem Dekker

Our board member and friend Gem Dekker passed away at the age of 68. Far too soon we had to say goodbye to a major pillar, the pivot of the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. We are losing a man of enormous commitment, who has contributed to the success of our auction almost from the beginning. But above all, we lose a dear friend, a man who greatly determined the atmosphere. He left his amiable stamp on the selection days, which not only resulted in good foals, but also a great internal team atmosphere.

Friendship, passion for horses and breeding and serving the common good. These are the concepts that Gem Dekker embodied and that we as a board will hold in high esteem. This is how Gem lives on in the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag.

NVP's ETje designated for KWPN performance test

No fewer than 3 Ustinov sons have been designated for the KWPN performance test.
