The only eight-year-old stallion Mr. Europe (Mr. Blue x Cassini I) and top rider Marc Houtzager finished third in the 1.45m ranking class in Oliva last weekend. The Mr. Europe seems to be developing to the absolute top level.

The by Stud Renken bred Mr. Last year Europe had many top placings under Marc Houtzager in the international classes for seven-year-olds. Now Mr. Europe already continued these results at 1.45m level.

In addition, Gigolo III (Cassini II x Chin Chin), sold on Prinsjesdag, also performed well under the saddle of Swiss Rachel Sandoz. The chestnut won a 1.40m class in Oliva. The Colman descendant Baron did excellent under the Italian Roberto Turchetto in the Italian Arezzo. Baron jumped consistently all week and finished sixth in a CSI3* 1.40m class.

Prinsjesdag talents continue to perform strongly

The annual southern jumping tours have already started in full swing and the horses auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag also speak for themselves. In the Spanish Oliva in particular, the various Prinsjesdag horses achieved a number of appealing results.

For example, there is the only five-year-old Creswell LVP Z (Casall x Quantum), who under the Belgian rider Lieven Devos strings one clear result after another. Creswell LVP Z achieved a seventh place in one of the Young Horse Finals in Oliva in recent weeks. Then there is also Get Off (Numero Uno x Indoctro) who is doing very well with the Irish top rider Trevor Breen and who recently finished fourth in one of the finals for the six-year-old show jumpers in Oliva.

Even the now eleven-year-old carbania (Carolus II x Baloubet du Rouet) is performing well under the British Jemma Kirk and recently took fourth place and took a victory in an international class. the eleven-year-old Gigolo III (Cassini II x Chin Chin) performs strongly under the Swiss Rachel Sandoz. In the CSI2* ranking tests in Oliva Gigolo III jumped several times clear.

Prinsjesdag jumping stallion O'Neil vd Bisschop appointed for KWPN performance test

Foal Auction Prinsjesdag also had several great successes at the KWPN Stallion Inspection in Den Bosch this year. O'Neil vd Bishop (Diamant de Semilly out of Jade vd Bisschop of Ogano Sitte) showed his jumping talents in Den Bosch; O'Neil has good impulsion, a lot of scope and seems very careful. His dam line is also very interesting: dam Jade is already jumping at international 1.40m level and is a daughter of the Grannus mare Priscilla. This mare is the foundation of famous international show jumpers such as Holland van den Bisschop (Remco Been), Estina (Samantha McIntosh) and the approved stallions Dulf van den Bisschop, Arizona and Maestro van den Bisschop.

Subsequently, Foal Auction Prinsjesdag was also represented several times in the Blom Stallion Competition. Prinsjesdag youngsters perform excellently

Attention is often focused on the Prinsjesdag toppers at the very highest level, but it is precisely this new group of emerging Prinsjesdag horses that is also particularly interesting. And these 'Prinsjesdag-youngsters' are currently doing great!

The just six year old Get Off (Numero Uno x Indoctro – full brother of Take Off) under the Irish top rider Trevor Breen is already successfully jumping at international level and has performed well in the young horse classes in Oliva in recent weeks. At the five-year-olds Creswell LVP Z (Casall x Quantum) also doing well in Oliva. Creswell jumped many times clear in the international classes under the Belgian Lieven Devos.

Closer to home in Drachten, the now eight-year-old VDL Groep Elexia and mr. Europe their business card. Yesterday in the international class for seven- and eight-year-old show jumpers, VDL Groep Elexia (Calvaro Z x Alexis Z) under top rider Leopold van Asten finished in second place. Last weekend, Mr. Europe (Mr. Blue x Cassini I) also did well in Drachten by finishing seventh in the 1.40m class under the saddle of Marc Houtzager.

Alicante in second place in Mechelen

Alicante and Jérôme Guéry finished second in the CSI5* 1,45m class at Jumping Mechelen. Alicante ends 2016 as it has done all year: winning. We are looking forward to the performance of this fantastic duo in 2017!

Two Prinsjesdag jumping stallions on to Den Bosch

The stallions Johnnie Walker F and O'Neil vd Bisschop, auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag, both earned a ticket for the second viewing of the KWPN Stallion Selection in Den Bosch. The extremely interestingly bred stallions from the breeding of the Florijn and Stal van den Bisschop family respectively convinced the KWPN Stallion Selection Committee.

Johnnie Walker F (Cidane x Quidam de Revel) is owned by Egbert Schep from Tull en 't Waal and descends from the talented Heartbreaker son Cidane. The Florijn family from Geesteren (Gelderland) bred Johnnie Walker F out of the elite EPTM(spr) mare Cinerma – also a half sister of the international Grand Prix show jumper Trento ridden by the Mexican Santiago Lambre.

O'Neil vd Bisschop (Diamant de Semilly x Ogano Sitte) is registered with Ben van Mierlo from Koningslust and has its origin in Belgium. This excellently bred Diamant de Semilly son was born in the stables of the De Craene family from Melle.
