Prinsjesdag stallions Highlander and Hervé d'Ive VDL approved by KWPN

ERMELO – Two colts auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag 2012 have already grown into KWPN-approved stallions. The Numero Uno son Highlander (ds. Vingino) and the Vigo d'Arsouilles son Hervé d'Ive VDL (ds. Indoctro) both obtained their breeding license from the KWPN. With 81.5 points, Highlander is one of the highlights of his year and Hervé d'Ive VDL was also rewarded with several 8s.

Monique Lamers-Couwenberg from Heide bred Highlander out of the Vingino daughter Ditty Dante C. The Prinsjesdag selection committee was already charmed by the blood-bred Highlander, who, in addition to top stallions in his pedigree, also comes from a top dam line. Great-granddam Citty (by Ramiro) is the foundation of countless international show jumpers. Loyal Prinsjesdag buyers Jos Althuyzen and Egbert Schep were also charmed by the flexible gray and bought it.
With an 8.5 for canter and an 8.5 for scope, Highlander stood out above his contemporaries. In addition, he scored at least an 8 for all jumping components and his total came to 81.5.

Hervé d'Ive VDL (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Indoctro) was born with Isabelle Van Eeckhout in Outer-Ninove, Belgium. In addition to the Prinsjesdag selection committee, the Van de Lageweg family of VDL Stud was also impressed by the strongly built chestnut. VDL Stud therefore bought the Vigo d'Arsouilles son at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag.
Hervé d'Ive's grandmother Almfee (Almé x Gotthard) jumped at 1.45 m level herself and is the foundation of a large number of international show jumpers. A similar career lies ahead for Hervé d'Ive as well. The fox scored an 8 for his beautiful technique and an 8 for his generous scope. It is not without reason that his talent as a jumping horse was rewarded with an 8 and his total score came to 76 points.

The prestigious KWPN studbook has approved the Prinsjesdag sold stallion Hervé d'Ive VDL (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Indoctro) and Highlander (Numero Uno x Vingino). With a top-score of 81.5 points and an 8.5 for scope and canter Highlander was one of the favourites. This son of Numero Uno was bred by Monique Lamers-Couwenberg and bought at Prinsjesdag 2012 by Egbert Schep and Jos Althuyzen. At the same auction in 2012 VDL Stud bought the Vigo d'Arsouilles-son Hervé d'Ive VDL from the famous Belgian breeder Isabelle Van Eeckhout. Hervé d'Ive VDL was rewarded with an 8 for jumping technique, scope and talent as a show jumper.

NVP's Arc de Triomphe second during the first test NK Young Riders

During the first round of the Dutch Championships Jumping for Young Riders, Frank Schuttert came in second with the Arc de Triomphe (Triomph de Muze x Calvados), bought at the National Foal Auction. Arc de Triomphe was bred by the Van Straaten family from Den Ham and has been owned by the Schuttert family since the auction.

In the coming days we will closely follow the actions of Frank and his asset.

De Niro: king of dressage horses

More than a million euros. The descendants of the twenty-year-old Hanoverian stallion De Niro have so far won this in dressage competitions.

In BIT 204 a report is devoted to this stallion. The National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag has been selecting foals from this stallion for several years now. In combination with good maternal lines, the offspring show that they are successful. The motto of the Foal Auction Prinsjesdag 'The power of performance' is once again proven.

Zerly & Big Star 1 and 2 during WEF Challenge Cup

After a fantastic performance at the Olympic Games, few people will not know the name Big Star. The mare Zerly is perhaps less famous than Big Star at the moment, but she is making good progress. Under the American rider Christine McCrea she won the WEF Challenge Cup last week, Big Star came in second.

Last year the foal auction Prinsjesdag auctioned the foal Hieka W (Big Star x Clearway). Besides a world famous sire, he also has a special dam line. Dam Delight W is a descendant of the stallion Clearway, who again has the same dam as Hamburg Derby winner Chika's Way. Granddam Rockella S also jumped internationally.

The foal Hero W (Kannan x Carthago) was also sold during the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. This mare also has a world famous sire with Kannan, except this is the dam of Hero W and also the dam of Zerly. Zerly already proved to have a lot of talent during the VION Cup for 7-year-old horses by writing this to her name in an impressive way.

Also this year, very interestingly bred foals and pregnancy will be auctioned during the Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. The selection season will start again at the beginning of May. The selection days will be available on the website in two weeks. If you would like to register your foal in advance or receive more information, please contact us by email or telephone at info@veulenveilingprinsjesdag.nl or via 0342-440100.

De Havikerwaard breeding station has high expectations of NVPs Dyor de Hus

In 2010, Jan van de Kamp and his daughter Patricia bought a filly from the breeding of the world famous Haras de Hus at the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. Dyor de Hus (De Niro x Sandro Song) is only three years old, but according to Mr. Van de Kamp one of the future top talents in the stable. A mare with charisma, looseness and a great movement mechanism, according to Mr. Van de Kamp.

The sire of Dyor de Hus is the stallion De Niro, who himself performed at the highest level. Dam La Traviata is none other than the full sister of the world famous Sandro Hit. The motto of the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag 'The power of performance' is deeply rooted in Dyor de Hus's genes. A name that we will keep an eye on in the future.

The first selection moments for the Foal Auction Prinsjesdag will be announced shortly, if you have an interesting foal, please let us know!

The tension is rising!

Two more weeks to go and then it's time. On Tuesday September 18, the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag will be organized in the KNHS center in Ermelo. Prince's Day auction collection announced

After a very strict selection, 71 top foals have made it to the 2012 vintage of the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. These will be auctioned on September 18, along with eight very exclusive pregnancies, the absolute pinnacle of global performance breeding. While the Olympic Games are just behind us, the Prinsjesdag auction offers the opportunity to buy the best foals with a view to upcoming Olympiads.

Big Star and London
For example, in our collection we have a very athletic and good canter foal by Big Star. The stallion who was good for the Olympic Gold team medal with Nick Skelton, and who was recognized by the KWPN on the basis of his performance. Not only did this foal inherit the best genes from her father's side, she also comes from the best-breeding Holstein lineage 7126 and is a granddaughter of the international show jumper Rockella S. Her half-sister Vriedo-O also participated in London. But it doesn't stop there. In the collection of foals, the committee also managed to select a foal full of charisma from Eurocommerce London. Eurocommerce London convincingly guided the Dutch team and individual Gerco Schröder to two silver medals. This foal with the appropriate name Come to London comes out of the international jumping mare Ta Belle van Sombeke (Jos Lansink).

De Niro
In dressage, the Donnerhall blood was prominent during the Olympic Games in London. De Niro is without a doubt one of the most influential sons of the Donnerhall dynasty. The trademark of his breeding is the almost unlimited aptitude for the optimal collection. London toppers such as Desperados, Dablino, and Donnerfee illustrate this. No fewer than two De Niro offspring have been selected in the foal collection of the Prinsjesdag auction. That is the black and beautifully modeled Hula Dancer, who also has a very interesting blood structure via Fürst Heinrich and Contango. And the strong moving Henderson SVN, a foal that is closely related in the dam line to international dressage horses Sisther de Jeu and Thriller, as well as the light tour horse W. Esther de Jeu.

You can find all selected foals on our website www.prinsjesdagveiling.nl

Aachen toppers Taloubet K and Big Star united in Prinsjesdag auction foal Jaloubet K

Your breeding product first and second in Aachen. A dream for many, a reality for Kees Klaver from Schoorl, when last week the Big Star (Nick Skelton) and Taloubet Z (Christian Ahlmann), bred by him, were each other's biggest competitors in the Europe Prize. An unbelievably good performance. Equally interesting is the colt Jaloubet K, which will be auctioned on September 18 at the Prinsjesdag Foal Auction. This Jaloubet K comes out of the mare Alanda K., a daughter of Taloubet K and a half sister of Big Star.

Big Star and Taloubet hardly need any further introduction. Both horses belong to the absolute best in the world today thanks to their top attitude, quick reflexes and power. They have both been selected for London and are among the contenders for a medal of honor. Big Star and the Prinsjesdag auction foal Jaloubet were bred by Kees Klaver out of the good breeding family 133. Granddam Jolanda jumped ZZ herself and, in addition to Big Star and Alanda K, produced a 1.40m and a Z jumper. The direct dam line also produced the approved stallion Amethist and the international jumping approved stallion Matterhorn, as well as several other sport horses, approved stallions and well-breeding mares. Kees Klaver combined this top line with the best blood in France, which comes together in the stallion Jazz de Coquerie. This grandson of Grand Veneur comes from a dam of the legendary Quidam de Revel, who competed internationally in the sport up to 1.40m level with Ramzy al Duhami. Jaloubet is a foal from his first crop.

The Foal Auction Prinsjesdag will take place on Tuesday September 18, 2012. The selection committee has again succeeded this year in selecting a collection of extra quality foals, in terms of model, movement and pedigree. Jaloubet K is an example of this.
