Successful KWPN Stallion Show 2019
The annual KWPN Stallion Show for Foal Auction Prinsjesdag went very well in several respects. Two dressage and two jumping stallions have been designated for the performance test and the booth of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag was well attended every day.
Every year the KWPN Stallion Show is a wonderful meeting place for breeders, rearers and sports enthusiasts, and of course the stand of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in particular. On Thursday 31 January and Friday 1 February the drinks were pleasant highlights and a great kick-off for the coming season. Four stallions that were auctioned in 2016 received an invitation for the performance test and that is a good score. It is:
- Quality Boy PB Z (Quickly de Kreisker x Baloubet du Rouet, breeder P. Bastiaansen from Tilburg) owned by Egbert Schep and Hans van der Louw
- Leviathan (For Pleasure x Untouchable, breeders N. and JJ Smit-De Goede from Hoge Hexel/Mildam) owned by Rinus Blom
- Leerava (Florencio x Negro, breeder C. van Etten) owned by Conny Pellikaan
- LA Zonik (Zonik x Goodtimes, breeder AJ Lievaart from Wijckel) owned by Andreas Helgstrand

Kelly and Cresswell LVP Z won both the 1.30m and 1.35m for young horses at CSI2* Oliva – Valencia. In the 1.40m class, the breeding product of Luc van Puymbroek of the LVP Stables jumped double clear and finished fifth. As a foal, this interestingly bred Casall son already stood out positively. He is bred out of a half-sister of the Holsteiner stallion Claudio's Son (s.Claudio) and represents the leading tribe 275.
