On Tuesday, September 16, traditionally on Prinsjesdag, the Prinsjesdag Foal Auction will organize its fourth and final auction of 2025. While previous editions this year took place in Deurne, Houten and Grootebroek, the auction organization is now returning to the familiar NatiNational Equestrian Center in Ermelo. This time with a collection that is entirely dedicated to show jumping horse breeding: 40 carefully selected show jumping foals form the collection.

The 40 showjumping foals all come from strong dam lines and combine proven showjumping genes with cutting-edge stallions. This means that the Prinsjesdag Foal Auction once again offers breeders and investors the opportunity to invest in tomorrow's top showjumping talent. "With this final auction, we conclude a successful auction year in which we were successful at three beautiful locations. The collection in Ermelo once again underscores our ambition to bring breeders and buyers together around the very best showjumping genes," says chairman Arjan van der Waaij.

1.60m mothers and grandmothers
With dams and granddams that have proven themselves at Grand Prix level, such as the dams of the fillies Agata vd Berghoeve Z (by Agalord KCX Berghoeve) and Camilla KCX (by Iron Man VD Padenborre), the dam of the colt Uzario van de Cruyenvelden Z (by United Touch S), the granddam of the colt Diacanan (by Diaron) or the granddam of Vulcanico Reuvekamps (by Chacfly), the multiple Nations Cup winner S Umonia I, the foals are not lacking in quality.

Usha van Roosakker, Ratina Z, Glamor Girl
The legendary genes of Usha van 't Roosakker are also evident in this collection, as are the influences of Ratina Z. Or how about the colt Une Pepperoni GZ (by Pagani of the Paddocks) out of the half-sister of Hendrik von Eckermann's Glamour Girl? Vero Blue (by Cero Blue TN), his dam, is the half-sister of multiple Grand Prix winner Highway TN.

The auction day promises more than just top-quality horses on the arena. Visitors can expect a full program in the welcoming setting of the National Equestrian Center in Ermelo:

Following the success of the Prinsjesdag Foal Auction last weekend at CSI Houten, the renowned auction is now gearing up for a new highlight. On Saturday evening, August 23rd, the exclusive live auction will take place at one of the most beautiful locations in the Netherlands: the Droom Hoeve in Grootebroek. No fewer than 32 exceptional dressage foals will go under the hammer that evening.

The collection consists of genetically very interesting and well-moving foals, bred from proven dam lines full of Grand Prix horses or approved stallions and sires who have proven themselves in sport or breeding. These include two-time world champion Red Viper, Total US, Elastic, For Romance, Vitalis, McLaren, and Kjento. Some notable foals include:

• Versailles (by Blue Hors Zackery) – half-brother of Olympic Hermès
• Vanquish (by One Million) – son of NMK mare D.Obertje, half-sister of Glock's Tango
• Valkyrie-K van Kattenheye (by Elastic) – half-sister of NMK champion Raspoetin-K van Kattenheye
• Valeta Rose BSW (by Powerbank) – from the dam line of Chagall D&R, Bretton Woods and Four Legends
• Vows of Love FX (by Total US) – from the damline of the Olympic Dablino FRH

The dressage auction at Droom Hoeve will take place on Saturday, August 23rd, at 7:30 PM. The stables open for viewing at 5:00 PM, and the VIP section opens at 6:30 PM with live music. On the traditional third Tuesday of September Foal Auction Prinsjesdag is present with an exclusive collection of jumping and dressage foals. A total of 66 foals will be auctioned by Koen Olaerts on Tuesday 19 September at the National Equestrian Center in Ermelo. A collection overflowing with promising genes, both in the jumping and dressage direction.

An Emerald filly out of the sister of Uricas van de Kattevennen, an Eldorado van de Zeshoek daughter out of the full sister of Erenice Horta, a granddaughter of Valentina van 't Heike, a Mylord Carthago son out of a granddaughter of world champion Liscalgot; these are just a few examples of the special collection of showjumping foals put together by Bob Janssens and Willem van Hoof. The dressage committee, consisting of Cas van der Oord and Lauw van Vliet, also did their best and registered an excellent group of foals. The Texel breeding, the line of Charites, the direct family of Bretton Woods, closely related to Grand Prix mare Sisther de Jeu, the strong maternal line of Kairos - we find it all in the dressage collection.
