Are you interested in buying a foal in our auction via the online bidding system? Here's how it works in four steps:
If you are interested in buying a foal during Foal Auction Prinsjesdag, you can bid by raising your hand. When you have the last offer, one of our hostesses will come to you with the purchase contract that you need to sign. After (or during) the auction you report to the secretariat to proceed with payment.
It is also possible to bid by telephone during Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. You can indicate by email or telephone that you would like to bid by telephone during the foal auction. We will then contact you to discuss all the details. During the auction, we will contact you before the foal is going to be auctioned and you can bid live via one of the employees of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag.

Pin or credit card
After the auction, you report to the secretariat, where you pay by debit or credit card. You will then receive a proof of payment.
Bank guarantee
You can request proof of your 'financial soundness' from your bank. With this bank guarantee you will receive permission from us to pay by giro. The amount must then be in the account of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag within 7 days after the auction.
Pay an amount in advance
Depending on the price that you may be willing to spend during the auction, you pay an amount that is in reasonable proportion (to be assessed by Foal Auction Prinsjesdag) to the possible amount to be spent on the bank account of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag prior to the auction. If you have not bought a foal, you will be refunded the amount after the auction.
Business References
At least one of which is willing to guarantee you. You must inform the secretariat of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in advance who will guarantee you. In the opinion of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag you will or will not be allowed to pay by giro. If you receive permission, the amount must be transferred to the account of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag within 7 days after the auction.
