About Pannina Ice Z
Pannina Ice Z’s parents have at least one thing in common; both her sire and her dam have a famous and extremely successful granddam. Sire Poker de Mariposa is a son of Nabab de Rêve out of the Berlin mare Ilena de Mariposa, who jumped at Grand Prix level with several riders. Ridden by Pénélope Leprévost, Ilena’s dam Flora de Mariposa became one of the most successful showjumpers of recent years and won team gold at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and team silver at the World Equestrian Games in Caen. Via the 1.40m showjumping mare Annina Z, dam Charming Ice Z goes back to the Grand Prix mare Cold As Ice Z, who was highly successful ridden by Kevin Staut. Her daughter As Cold As Ice Z jumped at top level ridden by Judy Ann Melchior and was an important member of the Belgian jumping team for many years. This damline also produced famous showjumpers such as Caribis Z, Agent, Frechdachs, Carlaya Z, Canasta Z and many more.
