Ridden by Japan’s Tae Sato, the Numero Uno daughter Vrouwe Toltien won no less than six World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian League and was thus for several years one of the most successful showjumpers in Japan. This embryo was bred out of the mare Blooming Craft – a daughter of the successful Vrouwe Toltien.
Blooming Craft herself is a daughter of Grand Prix showjumping stallion Gentleman and already produced the talented showjumper Fiorella EVS. Great-granddam Royalty Toltien produced, in addition to Vrouwe Toltien, several other successful sporthorses, such as the international eventing horse Willemstad Toltien. This direct damline also produced Grand Prix showjumpers such as B Men, Taylor Made, Blue Chip and Cornwell.
The sire of this embryo is the extremely talented Uricas van de Kattevennen. This now 9-year-old stallion is breaking through at international level ridden by Alexander Housen and, as a 7-year-old, finished 5th in the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. Uricas van de Kattevennen combines the strong genes of Untouchable son Uriko with the top line of Otto Boje Schoof. Granddam Chika’s Way jumped successfully at 1.60m level and is the sister of Clearway, Conway, Carassina, Ut Wodka and many other international showjumpers.
