Cornet Obolensky out of sister of CSI5* winner G&C Arrayan

Ridden by Spain’s Sergio Alvarez Moya, G & C Arrayan became one of the most successful horses at CSI5* level and with Colombian Carlos Lopez, the Baloubet du Rouet son continued his success. With Moya, Arrayan won the Grand Prix of Versailles and of Cannes and with Lopez the striking bay took victories in Paris, Miami, Vejer de la Frontera and Valence.

This embryo is sired by top-class sire Cornet Obolensky out of the 1.30m jumping mare Justine W – a half-sister of G & C Arrayan. Granddam Grandezza produces, besides Arrayan, also the Grand Prix showjumping Baricello W ridden by Ireland’s Seamus Hayes, as well as the international showjumping horses Lady Lord and Callistus. In addition, Grandezza is the granddam of the Zangersheide approved stallion Heavenly W, who currently competes at Grand Prix level with McLain Ward.

For years, Sire Cornet Obolensky belongs to the best breeding stallions in the world; with offspring such as Clooney, Comme Il Faut, Cornado NRW, Cornet d’Amour and many more, Cornet Obolensky needs no further explanation. Grandsire Mr. Blue also produced an impressive list of top-class showjumping horses, such as Simon, VDL Zirocco Blue, Plot Blue and Dana Blue. In addition, Grannus and Pilot are invaluable sires in showjumping breeding.
