About Prinses van de Eikhof
The Foal Auction Prinsjesdag selection committee was immediately impressed by the appearance, the beautiful conformation and the charming, elastic way Prinses van de Eikhof was already moving when se was just ten days old. During the photo/video day, the chestnut filly again charmed with her wonderful type and her outstanding movements in all three gaits, in which she combines balance with great use of body and lots of stride. Prinses van de Eikhof is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful daughters of her world-famous sire Totilas, the phenomenon ridden by Edward Gal. In addition to his impressive sports career, Totilas career as a sire is tremendously successful as well. His sons impress in the tests and sports all over Europe. Think of Glock’s Toto Jr, Governor, Top Gear, Total Hope, Total US and many more. His first offspring are already breaking through at the highest level in sports. Prinses’ dam Dakina is a daughter of the Grand Prix stallion Wynton. Her dam Eberdine produced four Z-level dressage horses, one ZZ-Zwaar horse and one Small Tour horse, called World Wide. Her dam Bundine received the ‘Prestatie’ predicate due to her successful offspring in dressage and the Grand Prix showjumper Rocky.
