Last month several horses that were auctioned as foals at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag have performed well. Several dressage horses achieved high-profile results. Dutch rider Dominique Fillion made a great debut at fifth (ZZ-Zwaar) level aboard Winters Grand Amour. This United gelding was bred by Jan and Ans van Oort and sold at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. They scored over 69% at the Subtop competition in Den Hoorn, and took home the second prize. Another debut took place at Indoor Brabant, where 25-year-old Denise Nekeman was one of the competitors in the World Cup with Boston STH (Johnson x Quattro B, breeder Jan Temmink) for the first time. They scored 67.9% and gained many valuable experiences. Subsequently, it was announced that thanks to the good performances with Boston STH, Denise Nekeman is part of the KNHS Talent Team for another year. More dressage news comes from Denmark, where the stallion L.A. Zonik (Glock’s Zonik x Goodtimes, breeder Doet Lievaart) owned by Andreas Helgstrand has been selected for the Danish performance test. In February this year he was already selected for the KWPN performance test.
