Second GP victory for Baron in 2019!

Another month, another list of great international achievements of horses that were part of the collection of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. Baron (s.Colman) won the Grand Prix of Arezzo and Especiale Too (s.Ustinov) made a successful debut on 1.50m level. In the dressage ring, Gaudi Vita (s.Apache) and President’s First Apple (s.Vivaldi) showed to be both unbeatable in the Small Tour.

Roberto Turchetto and Baron (Colman x Numero Uno, breeder Stud Farm ‘t Heemskind in Deurne) claimed the win in the 1.45m Grand Prix at CSI3* Arezzo and achieved their third international victory in 2019. In February they already won the 1.50m-GP of Vilamoura. The Ustinov mare Especiale Too (s.Burggraaf, breeders Christien Delissen-Verstappen and Jack Verstappen) also made a successful 1.50m debut under Massimo Grossato at the CSI4* in Gorla Minore. With jumping two clear rounds they earned the sixth prize, after they already finished second in the 1.40m class. The eight-year-old Gintura (Zirocco Blue VDL x Corland, breeder C.A.F. Toonders from Veldhoven) is another successful Foal Auction Prinsjesdag reference. Since the beginning of this year the mare has been performing with Ruben Romp and at the CSI3* in Lanaken they remained clear in all six classes in two weeks! In 1.30/1.35m classes they ended up second and third in the last week of this Z-Tour.

Small Tour winners

At the CDI3* in Sint-Truiden Joyce Heuitink and Gaudi Vita (Apache x Welt Hit II, bred by Heleen Broos) competed successfully. They won the Small Tour and earned two third prizes in the Intermediare I, including a wonderful percentageof 76.79 in the Freestyle! Patrick van der Meer’s former horse President’s First Apple (Vivaldi x TCN Partout, breeder Nico van Maaswaal from ‘t Goy) also attracted a lot of attention this month. This Foal Auction Prinsjesdag reference has made an excellent international debut with his new rider Sarah Lockman. On CDI1* Temecula they won both the Prix St. Georges, the Intermediaire I and the Freestyle. That’s the way we like it so we keep following them!
