Rousseau will be awarded ‘Keur’ by the KWPN

DEN BOSCH – The now eighteen-year-old Rousseau will be honored next week at the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch. The stallion, who was sold at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 1998, will be awarded ‘Keur’ by the KWPN due to his outstanding performing offspring.

In 1998, Rousseau (Ferro x Roemer) was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag and eighteen years later, he is a true foundation sire. Through the KWPN Select Sale in 2000 Rousseau got American owners and since 2006 Rousseau has been at stud in the United States. Rousseau produced many licensed stallions and successful Grand Prix dressage horses, including the KWPN approved Ampère, the world-famous Blue Hors Zack, Patrick van der Meer’s new Olympic Squad horse Zippo and other successful Grand Prix horses like Watoeschi, Wilco V, Eventz Zamacho and Harmony’s Fiorano.
