DOHA / KRONENBERG – Bonne Chance CW and Wimphof’s Hinde did some excellent promotion for Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in last weekend’s Grand Prix competitions. At the CSI5 * show in Doha, the exceptional chestnut Bonne Chance CW and Janika Sprunger ended up in sixth place, while Wimphof’s Hinde and Marriët Hoekstra became third in the national 1.50m Grand Prix at Equestrian Centre De Peelbergen.
Bonne Chance CW (Baloubet du Rouet x Cambridge) – ridden by Janika Sprunger – belongs to world’s best after winning many Grand Prix competitions last year, including the CSI5 * Grand Prix of Falsterbo. In addition, Bonne Chance CW is a bronze team medalist of the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. In Doha, the now 10-year-old mare showed off her potential again and picked up a sixth place in the Grand Prix. Earlier during the week, Bonne Chance CW already ended up sixth in the 1,50m of Doha.
Wimphof’s Hinde (Berlin x Heartbreaker) and Marriët Hoekstra finished on an excellent third position in the national 1.50m Grand Prix at Equestrian Centre De Peelbergen. Marriët Hoekstra’s number one mount showed off her enormous potential over the last months and impressed during her CSI3* Grand Prix debut at Indoor Drachten. The third place at De Peelbergen is another wonderful confirmation of the potential of Wimphof’s Hinde – a 9-year-old mare bred by Haras de la Vie.
