Mr.Europe performs with new rider

In January of this year the Foal Auction Prinsjesdag-reference Mr.Europe was purchased by Morning Star Sporthorses and with that this striking stallion got a new rider. During the Winter Equestrian Festival the Mr.Blue son, bred by Stoeterij Renken, already performed well under the saddle of Karrie Rufer in 1.45/1.50m classes.

Ten years ago the Mr.Blue-son (ds.Cassini I) was born as Europe RV at the stud of family Renken in Vriescheloo (NL). At Foal Auction Prinsjesdag this promising colt was sold to Benny Wezenberg and Fred Lodewijk. In recent years the latter had Mr.Europe together with Stal Houtzager-Kayser. As a three-year-old, the genetically interesting stallion was approved for Zangersheide and he was used on a very limited scale for breeding. Mr.Europe developed very well as an international showjumper. After many successes in the Youngster Tour he jumped to the second place in the 1.50m of CSI4* Münster and achieved results at 5*-shows like Aachen, Rotterdam and Brussels.

Big future
Now Mr.Europe continues his career in America. At the CSI5* in Wellington he and Karrie Rufer jumped clear in the 1.45m class and had one down in the 1.50m class. That makes a good start! A nice detail is that Mr.Europe’s dam, the Cassini I-mare Z-Livia, was also purchased at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag.
