Occhio di Pernice heeft een pedigree vol medailles en prestaties op het hoogste niveau. Vader Diamant de Semilly sprong onder Eric Levallois naar teamgoud op de Wereldruiterspelen in Jerez in 2002, terwijl grootvader Big Star onder Nick Skelton olympisch teamgoud won in Londen in 2012 en individueel goud in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Occhio di Pernice’s pedigree is full of medals and major achievements at the highest level of showjumping. Ridden by Eric Levallois, sire Diamant de Semilly won team gold at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez in 2002, while grandsire Big Star, ridden by Nick Skelton, became Olympic team champion in London 2012 and individual champion in Rio de Janeiro 2016. Diamant de Semilly is one of the best showjumping sires in history with offspring such as Don VHP Z, Emerald, Utamaro d'Ecaussines, Dominator Z, Quickly de Kreisker, et cetera. Great-granddam Rockella-S jumped successfully at 1.50m level with, among others, Manuel Fernandez Saro. This successful damline produced for instance the Olympic showjumper Vrieda Imperio Egipcio, sires Acord I & II and Acobat I & II and showjumping phenomenon Bella Donna.
