The first round viewing of the KWPN stallion approvals resulted in an invitation for the KWPN Stallion Show for five Prinsjesdag horses. Sons of For Pleasure, Quickly the Kreisker, Ghandi, Florencio and Glock’s Zonik will make their appearance in the second round viewing in Den Bosch.
During the first selections in Ermelo, the For Pleasure son Leviathan (ds.Untouchable) of R. Blom showed himself to be a very talented showjumper. The stallion was bred by N. Smit and J.J. Smit-de Goede and originates from a remarkable performance family. Also Quality Boy PB Z (Quickly the Kreisker x Baloubet du Rouet), bred by P. Bastiaansen and owned by E. Schep and J.J. van der Louw, made a strong impression. This promising stallion is a half-brother to the Grand Prix stallion Carrera VDL.
Three dressage stallions who have been sold at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 2016, got invited for the KWPN Stallion Show. The Zonik son L.A. Zonik (ds. Goodtimes, breeder A.J. Lievaart) owned by DK Dressage Horses, is one of them. In Ermelo it was announced that this talent owned by Demy Kurstjens has been sold to Andreas Helgstrand. Also Landal G (Ghandi x Rousseau), bred by M.A. de Groot, showed his talent to the judges. Two years after he was sold in Ermelo, the stallion of N. Donkers striked again. The third dressage stallion with a ticket for the second round in his pocket is Leerava (Florencio x Negro), bred by C. Etten, and owned by C.Y. Pellikaan. Breeders and owners best of luck in Den Bosch!
