With a carefully curated collection of promising dressage foals from proven sport and breeding bloodlines, the auction once again managed to attract a broad audience of breeders, sport stables, and enthusiasts. The absolute highlight of the evening was Walt Disney J (Secret x Glamourdale), who changed hands for no less than \u20ac36,000.<\/p>\n
The collection offered a broad representation of contemporary dressage breeding. From offspring of proven sires such as Secret, Sezuan, Glamourdale, and McLaren to young talents from dam lines that have already amply proven their worth in international sport. Walt Disney J absolute auction winner<\/strong><\/p>\n The star of the evening was the bay stallion Walt Disney J, a son of Secret out of a Glamourdale daughter. With his combination of two leading stallions from modern dressage breeding, he immediately captured the bidders' attention.<\/p>\n As a gold medalist and proven sire, Secret is one of the most appealing stallions of his generation. In combination with Glamourdale, also an established name in international dressage, Walt Disney J represents an interesting mix of proven sport genes and modern breeding blood.<\/p>\n During an exciting bidding process, the price eventually rose to \u20ac36,000. This made Walt Disney J the convincing top lot of the evening.<\/p>\n Strong prices for proven lines<\/strong><\/p>\n Several other foals from the collection were also sold for impressive sums. Womorkus JD (Souverain x Indian Rock) fetched \u20ac24,000. The stallion comes from a bloodline with numerous international Grand Prix dressage horses and thus also managed to generate a great deal of interest.<\/p>\n Another eye-catcher was Wonderful Ritme II (V-Power x Sezuan), a filly from the direct line of Pavo Cup winner and World Championship horse Perfect Ritme. She was sold for \u20ac20,000.<\/p>\n Williams C (McLaren x Franklin) and Wonderlady II Texel (Glamourdale x Jameson RS2) also achieved strong selling prices of \u20ac15,000. Williams C comes from the bloodline of, among others, KWPN approved stallion Krack C and several Grand Prix horses, while Wonderlady II Texel is a granddaughter of Grand Prix mare Belle Lady Texel.<\/p>\n In addition, Wiseman Texel (Obsession Taonga x Everdale) was sold for \u20ac14,000 and Waldemar vd Watermolen S (Dutch Dream x Secret) for \u20ac13,000.<\/p>\n A collection full of future prospects<\/strong><\/p>\n The collection of the Prinsjesdag Dressage Foal Auction was built around a clear vision: bringing together interesting young stallions and mares from proven sport and breeding bloodlines.
