Collection of Early Foal Auction Prinsjesdag full of exceptional genetics & talent!

This year our selectors went out early in the year to select foals for our “early foal auction May 18”. With much enthusiasm for the quality they were offered, they were able to select no less than 12 dressage and 10 show jumping foals. Interesting is the fact that these foals are descended from both older proven stallions and young upcoming stars.

Grand Prix sires
“We are extremely enthusiastic about what we have been offered along the way, it was a treat to be able to select such foals,” said dressage selector Lauw van Vliet. From the fantastic Totilas, one offspring was selected from a mother of Charmeur who is the sister of several top dressage horses. Recently Glamourdale, ridden by Charlotte Fry, did very well in Hagen and won the Grand Prix. The selectors were therefore very pleased that they could select a Glamourdale foal for the auction. This strikingly moving River Woods comes from a mare by Apache x Johnson.

Young talents
Jameson RS2 and Johnny Depp, both very successful in the young horse classes, both delivered one foal. Lauw van Vliet: “We have a very interesting colt by Johnny Depp who has exceptional movements and a lot of looseness, out of the lineage of Patser, among others. The Jameson colt, like the filly of Just Wimphof, comes from the successful breeding of the van Oort family. These are pedigrees in which sport is anchored and you see that in these foals!”.
From the mare Ginoeska, who finished high in the Pavo Cup, a filly by So Perfect will be auctioned and from the well-known Obertje line a colt by Fontaine TN. The Charmeur daughter Gudith W, who has no less than two brothers at GP level, delivers a beautiful colt in combination with For Ferrero. By Glock’s Taminiau a beautiful colt will be auctioned.

First crop
“From the first offspring of FS Bloomberg we have selected a foal with a truly beautiful model, he comes from a daughter of the famous GP horse Reine B. The son of Fynch Hatton, who does no less than him in terms of posture, is also a very interesting foal.” The dressage collection concludes with a daughter of First Date, out of the well-known Nola line. A very pretty and interesting foal, her damline is full of sport and that in combination with her appearance must be a guarantee for success!

Showjumping foals
In the group with selected jumping foals, a large number of foals descends from GP stallions, as befits Prinsjesdag, with mares from top damlines. Comme Il Faut delivers two foals, one from the line of Hernandez TN and the other from the line of Greenday, the new top showjumping horse of Aniek Diks. Emerald provides spectacle with the colt Versace van ‘t Zaveleinde, his grandmother is the full sister of none other than Corofino I. One of the most popular stallions of the moment, Dominator Z is the sire of a colt from a damline full of sport. Quabri de L’isle delivers a colt out of a mother of Lupicor who herself performed at 1.40 level. The mother of Randolero SH (Carrera VDL) also jumped at 1.40 level.

For those who are looking for filly’s to build up a lineage with, Roselitha and Esperanza Z are very interesting. The sire of Roselitha is Chaqui Z, who gave Ireland successes for years under Shane Sweetnam and her dam comes from the famous Bryolieta line. Esperanza Z is a daughter of Escape Z. Under Harrie Smolders he could be the successor of his sire Emerald. Esperanza’s dam comes from the fantastic Zottie line.

Dourkhan Hero Z
The promising Dourkhan Hero Z signs for the paternity of Rapido van Seldsum. His dam is the half-sister of Roelofsen Horsetrucks Eldorado, the 1.60m horse of Jeroen Dubbeldam. Selector Fred van Straaten: “We first look at the damlines, has the mother performed in sport? After the mother we look at the grandmother and great-grandmother. The structure of the pedigree is very important. We don’t prefer to see a stallion that never achieved anything among them. These foals all have a fantastic pedigree and are well put together. We think it’s a really special collection!”

All foals will appear under the virtual hammer on May 18! The auction ends at 8 P.M.
