Caesar and Frederik Cattebeke secure the victory in Grand Prix of Hasselt

Belgium’s Frederik Cattebeke and the Foal Auction Prinsjesdag sold Caesar took the victory in last weekend’s Grand Prix of Hasselt. Over this CSI2* 1.45m/1.50m track, the son of Lucky Boy turned out unbeatable and took home the first prize of 6.250 euro.

Frederik Cattebeke and Caesar, bred by B. Slot and Stal de Jonghe, took the victory in 35.11 seconds. After a third placing in both the Grand Prix of Bonheiden and Vittel, the only 9-year-old Caesar finally secured his first Grand Prix win in Hasselt. This son of Lucky Boy was bred out of a mare by Corland and is closely related to the Olympic showjumpers VDL Bubalu and VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P.
