Alicante impresses during his first Nations Cup appearance at CHIO Aachen

The 11-year-old stallion Alicante made his first Nations Cup appearance in the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup of CHIO Aachen. The son of Casall, ridden by Jérôme Guery, jumped a flawless first round, only touching the penultimate oxer which immediately fell to the ground.

In the second round, Alicante had some troubles coming into the triple combination, but jumped brilliantly over the rest of the course, finishing on an unlucky nine faults. We will see a lot more of this impressive stallion bred by Ron Nowee of Stoeterij ‘t Maalwater. Officially, Alicante has made his breakthrough at the very, very highest level!
