In the last sport test of this spring in Münster-Handorf, the four-year-old Air Jordan son Air King was one of the outliers. This stallion is bred by Hendrika Florijn, and was part of the collection of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 2014. He has since then continued to develop positively, something that is not surprising given his strong pedigree as he is closely related to international jumping horses like Delphi (s.Zürich), Always Me (s.Larino) and Viscount (s.Burggraaf). At Foal Auction Prinsjesdag the promising Air King was purchased by the German stallion owner Henrik Klatte, who already had several successes with him and has great expectations of this young stallion. As a 2.5-year-old, Air King was approved for Oldenburg-International and last year he passed the 14-days test with an 8.45 for the jumping parts. In Münster-Handorf he showed to be a true talent under saddle, scoring an average of 8.16.
