10th place for Darabel at Dutch Championships

ERMELO – The Prinsjesdag sold Darabel (Westpoint x Don Schufro) and Vai Bruntink made a great impression at the KNHS Indoor Championships in Ermelo last weekend. The only 8-years-old chestnut mare scored 65.43% and 64.25% and ended up 10th on ZZ-Zwaar level, which could be compared to Advanced level (UK) or L4T2 level (USA).

Darabel was bred by Willem Goesten from Berkel Enschot and was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 2008. The mare, owned by Stal 104 and ridden by Vai Bruntink, took part in the World Championships for Young Horses in Verden and was honored last year as National Champion in the category ‘keur and elite mares’ at the KWPN National Mare Show. The now 8-years-old mare continues to develop well and seems to be a great talent for the future. The 10th placing in the KNHS Indoor Championships are once again a step into the right direction!
